Reports To: Production Manager

Duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Construct and build boxes and packing cases for export against projects supplied by the Logistics Coordinator
• Ensure that all export cases have the international symbols sprayed on in indelible paint.
• The weighing of all items prior to packing and entering details in the Weight Register.
• The weighing of all items after packing and entering the weights and dimensions on the relevant works orders, and pass to the Despatch office for action.
• The working out of quotes, from drawings for estimated weights and dimensions.
• Ensuring that all goods packed for export are packed to the customers own specifications or Exheat packing specifications on SharePoint.
• Ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy, especially at cease of work.
• Operate hand held air tools and electric saws.
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Logistics Co-ordinator or Operations Manager.

The Employee shall devote their whole time, attention and skill to their duties hereunder and in addition such other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required of them for the proper and efficient running of the Employer’s business.
